The newest release of lightroom and ACR has some great new features... and everyone is talking about the new AI Denoise... in this video we compare it to the other major denoise products on the market and see which is best. This video is best viewed in its highest quality on a large screen. It is very difficult to see noise in images on RUclips at lower settings and screen sizes. My "Leave it B...

Is it time to switch? // Fstop Tilopa Camera Bag Review
Really informative and helpful video. Thanks 🎉 Stay save. Enjoy Life. 🫶
Good info Nick. Question, I’m thinking they’re made of steel so does the magnet attract dust?
When dropped in sand, they definitely attract magnetite! It’s really common to have grains of black sand stuck to your magnets
Has this process changed because when I right click the only thing in the menu that seems relevant is 'edit in photoshop' which is greyed out... ...update - my problem was, I was using Lr rather than LrC 👍 Also my old Capture One folders, while they open fine in Lr, LrC just says, no thankyou, incompatible 😂. Strange really when it seems to be just a folder of Raw files!
Excellent video!
Great to see this far-away land through your lens. Thanks for bringing us along.
After 6 years, would you choose the Sigma 14mm f1.8 ART or the Sigma 20mm f1.4 ART on a Canon R6 Mark ii for Milky Way and Aurora photography? BTW: Both are discontinued for the Canon EF mount. I might have to buy used. Great review BTW!
Personally, I would choose the 14, I actually just bought my second copy last month! Right now it’s the best Astro lens in the canon system
Would love to see a MW updated processing video with new masking tools in LR!!!
As good as Lightroom‘s updates areI still processing Photoshop because Photoshop is still more powerful! Light masking features are a nice addition for those that are scared of Photoshop but still too basic.
@@NickPage I use LRTIMELAPSE and would love to see a MW post process with the presets masks that Gunther includes
Great adventure! Thanks for talking me along!
hi, thank you very much. I have a Sonya7S3, I can't find this item. where can you find the dro?
Great!!!
lol I was feeling frustrated why it seem right but after transferring to my laptop I feel like everything was messed up, now it explains everything thanks!
Thank you. This really helps.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A magnet can be remagnetized by rubbing a neodymium pole, for example, against the opposite pole of the old magnet, allowing it to be repeated on the other side and achieving the desired effect.
Does eye AF work on the R5 with the old lens?
It does!
This man is a minority in photography channels, it's actually about taking photographs. Inspiring.
Nice to see you back Nick - lovely shots to boot as well!
Love this - thank you!!
Travelling around Central America, and let some Canadian lad look at my camera. Unbeknownst to me he switched to DRO on my camera... so now all the photos I took at Tikal and in Belize are DRO... fairly pissed because I spent two days in Tikal in 40c+ taking photos, only to discover this guy had fucked with my settings...
Those wave shots with the birds are mind-blowing " best I've seen yet, I love your work awesome thumbed, and subbed !!
Awesome. Thank you.
Guys, wait a second! Most people who are finding this video are looking for a solution to the following problem. They shot pictures, and those same pictures appear to be just fine inside their cameras, but the second the RAW files are ran through Adobe Bridge / Lightroom, they become super dark. Out of nowhere! Obviously you explained everything in the video, and how to prevent that from happening in the future. That’s cool, but many of us are confused AF because I’m not just gonna call my clients and ask them to run it back because I had a DR issue. In other words, what should I do with these files now? There’s a way to make the software interpret the RAW images in “default,” and that will even out the exposure just the way it was when you took the photos. I don’t know much about this, and I can’t find it in Adobe Bridge, but I need to fix the photos that I already have.
If you find a way, please let me know. Let someone look at my camera right before I visited Tikal and have now just realised he tinkered with my settings and put it in DRO...
don't poke these ;) no they poke you ;)
astounding pictures, love the joy in your voice, great experience.
One of the best videos I've found on how to create good luminosity masks, and I appreciate the breakdown of some of the add ons too
Scared me off with the sea salt issues. Seems expensive too. I’m still looking for THAT ONE tripod.
My version of lightroom denoise doesn't recognise sony files!!!
Whoa really!? Haven’t heard that one before
What company organized the tour?
Thor photography
One of the best videos I've seen good job Nick can't believe how good this was
Those black and white images are very Ansel Adams’esque 🤌🏼
Thanks!
Hey Nick, I'm really appreciating your video on cleaning tripod. Mine is a Feisol CT3342 but I got enough help to be able to clean mine. Not too many vids out there explaining that procedure. In addition, I am currently watching an old video of you having a conversation with the prankster Hardcastle. Good way to kill off an afternoon with "shits and giggles". Thanks again for a very helpful video.
Absolutely gorgeous photos. 😮
Storms over the Palouse region. Sweet!
Another great video, informative as always. Liked both the waterfall images but the autumn scene was stunning. Stunning scenery, such a contrast to where we are currently
Freaking amazing. I just started a Storm Chasing tour in Denver with Silver Lining Tours. Never done this before. I hope to get some supercell shots!
My favorite place on earth! If you pick the easy access spot you can be sure there is going to be people, but this spot was way less busy 5 years ago.
I’ll be there in June!!!
Always a good day when Nick gets to discover new locations!
Thank you so much, this made me want to sell my Sony I didn't realize it could be fixed 🙏🏽
The photography you captured is stunning! The FOMO is real. Real enough to where I just boooked a Patagonia workshop for 2026. Looking forward to it.
Great topic and very informative. I enjoy your style and skill set, thanks.
PERFECT video for anyone just wanting to bust this out and make it happen. The juice sprays right at 4:13 if anyone just want to dive right in. Thanks Nick!
Nick, I just love your informative reviews! That RRS tripods is certainly nice, but for my style of landscape photography, I find the Leofoto Ranger Camo series more than sufficient. Load capacity is 35 lbs, which is of course overkill. BTW, is that an Acratech ball head you have on it?
Nick, thanks for the excellent review of this awesome backpack! I use a “smaller” Nikon Z System with the largest lens being the 180-600 f/5.6-6.3, which is about 13” x 6”. I figured it would fit the V2 Explore 30L. Question: Do these backpacks come with a cube AND dividers or just the cube? Thanks, and BTW, your photography rocks!
Thanks!
Thank you!
This! 13:16 I picture a huge wall with this photo on 80% of it and one easy chair facing it. And I’ll just sit and look at this for hours.
Huge thanks I’ve been watching videos for two weeks and learned more from yours in 15 minutes
Just got my R5. Gonna try these setting today, thank you for the vid.
nicely done, great to watch, thanks for listing camping gear, greetings from alaska
